Dear Friends at Oak Mountain Pres Church,

We wanted to let you know how your prayers are being answered. You remember in December, we had two days winter training camp for students who are taking Bible Courses via regular mail. Jonah shared the Gospel with them during these training sessions. We ask you to please pray that the Father will open the hearts and minds of these students.  Out of 31 people who came to this training event, six of them, which includes one couple, have put their trust in the Lord, and are being baptized this month, the very first month of the year of 2010. They are now on the road to growing in their faith in the Lord. Thank you for your prayers.

In our last prayer letter we also requested you to please pray for Jonah as we was speaking in an annual convention in the city. We are so excited to let you know that the Lord has answered your prayers for this event too. Nine people put their trust in the Lord and His finished work on the Cross and six people have recommitted their lives to the Lord. Thank you again for your faithfulness in standing with us in prayers. He is so faithful in bring the other sheep which is still not in His flock. He alone knows how he is going to bring that sheep to His flock.

Ø      Please pray that these new believers will truly come to know what it means to become His disciple, learn to count the cost and willing to pay this cost when the right time comes.

Ø      Pray for deeper understanding of His Word and the Lord, to take root in their hearts & minds, for them to become witness to others in the family. “Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path”. Pray that will become reality for them.

Ø      Pray for their spiritual discipline, understanding, knowledge and above all the wisdom of the Lord to remain with them.

Ø      Pray for their bodily protection from the enemy, and for their growth in the Lord as growth is the only evidence of life in Him.

Ø      Pray that they will stay focused regardless of their circumstances.

Ø      Pray for us as we lead the work of church planting in a very hostile environment that the Lord will keep us away from discouragements, fear of any kind.

Ø      Pray that we will trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love and the future to God’s providence.

Thank you again for taking time to pray for us.

With grateful hearts,

J&J
